Refund Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of Kagelot, Inc.

  • Unused credits are not refunded. Plan credits expire at the end of each billing period (see Terms §3). Expired or unused credits are never refunded, carried over or paid out.
  • Subscriptions: you can cancel any time in Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan and its credits until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • Credit packs: not refundable once bought, used or not. Pack credits don't expire, so nothing is lost by waiting.
  • Failed generations: credits are charged only when a generation succeeds, so a failed or cancelled generation costs nothing. A generation that completes but that you don't like isn't refunded.
  • Duplicate or mistaken charges: a double charge or a charge after you cancelled is refunded in full. Email us within 30 days.
  • Service outage: if a major outage on our side stops you using the Service for more than 72 hours in a billing period, ask us and we'll add credits to make up for it.
  • Where the law gives you more: some countries give consumers rights that can't be waived (for example the EU's 14-day withdrawal right for digital services, which ends once you ask us to start the service and begin using it; the checkout asks for that consent). Nothing in this policy takes those rights away.
  • Abuse: accounts closed for breaking the Acceptable Use Policy aren't refunded.
  • Cancelling: Settings → Manage subscription opens the Stripe customer portal.
  • How to ask: email support@kagelot.com with your account email and order number. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually in 5–10 business days.
